Northern Kentucky University Foundation was incorporated in the fall of 1970 and since that time has provided Northern Kentucky University with a margin for excellence. The private support generated by the Foundation provides general and specific services and material things necessary or desirable for the growth and development of NKU.

The NKU Foundation is private, non-affiliated organization and is governed by an independent volunteer board of directors. Through its eighty board members and various committees, the Foundation allows alumni and friends an opportunity to be personally involved in its fund-raising and asset-management program.

Tax deductible gifts to the Foundation will continue to help NKU reach beyond basic survival to provide support above and beyond that which is possible through state funding.
